Three is one of America’s most respected DJs. Hailing from New York City, he's quietly and steadily earned the respect of his peers the world over through a handful of truly unique productions and a signature DJing sound encompassing all things house, techno and beyond. This sound, a strong knowledge of tradition capped by a fondness for the cutting edge, continually puts him through a variety of tour dates that show not only diversity in audience, but a genre-bending passion for good music. He’s held residencies at legendary American clubs like Florida’s Simon’s and NYC’s Twilo and has played lauded guest spots at benchmark parties like San Francisco’s Wicked Crew and the UK’s Fabric. More recently in NYC, residencies with Robots at Cielo and his Star Spangled parties at Love have left an indelible mark on the city.
The annual Hallucination Limited event at Miami’s Winter Music Conference and his long-running Snatch residency in Tampa, Florida are favorites of DJ’s and clubbers the world over. Echoing his wide tastes as a DJ, his rare production output as Second-Hand Satellites, Three A.M. (classic remixes of Rabbit in the Moon) and Montage Men has captured a not-so-common cross section of ears from house to techno played by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Craig Richards and Sasha. Recent remixes include Mish Mash feat. Lois – Speechless (Three’s Lost in Translation mix) on Crosstown Rebels, U.N.K.L.E. feat. Ian Brown – Reign (Three A.M.’s Black Swan mix) and Sasha – Coma (Three’s Star Spangled dub) on EmFire.
After decade of involvement with one of America’s most beloved underground labels Hallucination Recordings (Rabbit in the Moon, Second-Hand Satellites, Dynamix 2). Three launched the Hallucination Limited imprint in 2003 as a platform for other like-minded artists. Ignoring trends and signing tracks meant to stand the test of time their releases have been highly sought after in their limited vinyl runs. After a two years hiatus, the back catalog will be unveiled this winter during Miami's WMC 2008 in an exclusive deal with Beatport.

A unique trio, Cobblestone Jazz uses early computers and analog instruments to create pared down sounds that retain
the quality of improvisational jazz within the parameters of a minimal, dance-floor aesthetic. Through a real-time
exchange of musical form, language, and ideas, Tyger Dhula, Mathew Jonson, and Danuel Tate provide a continual
sense of surprise and discovery for their listeners.
The influence each member has on the group sound contributes to the international success Cobblestone Jazz continues
to recieve. Tyger Dhula's history as a DJ and producer of electronic music provides the necessary stylistic foundations
that form the backdrop for the group's improvisations. His ability to break grooves up into their key elements holds the
music firmly within electronic music traditions. Mathew Jonson's gifted ability to mix and compose freely, and his
commitment to pushing his music in new directions is always present. Using analogue drum machines and synthesizers
as his instruments, he chooses to write his parts in the moment instead of conforming to pre-configured patterns.
Danuel Tate's history as a jazz musician and performer prompted the approach to the group's writing practices. His keyboard playing shows a rich understanding of modern harmony and melody, but like many great artists, his dedication
to simplicity is what holds him in such high regard.
Since their 2002 debut release, The 5th Element, Cobblestone Jazz have received critical acclaim for their releases on
IIWII and Wagon Repair. The band's support from diverse international DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Daniel Bell, Gilles Peterson, Luciano, Josh Wink, Sven Vath , Richie Hawtin, Dan Curtin, Carl Craig, Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Joe Clausell
and many others, shows the trio's appeal is broad. They have performed internationally from Fabric in London to the
Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Their music is created in one take, either culled from live performances or studio
mixes, and their live shows are a representation of how they create music. These performances give audiences a fresh
perspective on the genius of Mathew Jonson as well as the future of electronic music itself.

Kenneth James Gibson is a man of many personas. Keeping up with him can be a time consuming, yet rewarding venture into sound. As soon as you think you know him and can grasp whats going on, he puts on yet another mask and becomes something else. Always a surprise and never a let down, he gives us what we want but don't expect. A rare stone in todays musical climate, Ken is rolling and collects no moss.
Kens first recordings were as the guitarist, singer, part time keyboardist and producer of the 90s indi rock band Furry Things. He slowly grew tired of being in a band and started producing a slew of electronic mish mash on his own as Eight Frozen Modules. Starting out with a guitar, half broken sampler (given to him by King Coffee of the legendary Texas band The Butthole Surfers), a drum machine, borrowed synths and a four track, Ken laid down an off kilter mix of electro, abstract hip hop, dub and techno.
In 1997, Ken moved from Austin Texas to the big city of Los Angeles, California. After releasing a few records as Eight Frozen Modules on various labels such as Trance Syndicate and City Slang, he gave up the 4 track and guitar for a desktop computer and software. While taking a few years off from releasing music, he learned how to create a new world in the land of computers. After 3 years of not leaving his padded studio cell, he resurfaced with the 2001 Eight Frozen Modules CD Random Activities and Broken Sunsets, a mix of glitched out electro, techno, and idm for the LA label, Phthalo. Since then, he has also released music under the names [a]pendics.shuffle, The Premature Wig, dubLoner, Electronic Music Composer, Reverse Commuter, Bal Cath, Hiss and Buzz (with Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto), and most recently as Kenneth James G., and KJ Gibbs for labels such as Mo's Ferry Productions, Adjunct, Resopal, Hallucination Limited, Floppy Funk, Underl_ne, Orac, Mille Plateaux, Planet-Mu, Proptronix, Disco Inc., and Sunset Diskos....just to name a few.
When Kenneth isn't in the studio reeking havoc on his neighbors, he is touring the world playing his music for the crazy kids late at night. Ken lives in Los Angeles, California and co-runs the label Adjunct, a forward thinking abstract techno label releasing such artists as Mikael Stavostrand, Sutekh, Franco Cinelli, and Peter F. Spiess.
WMC 2008 marks the the start of great things for his new project Reverse Commuter. The forthcoming full-length is an engaging collection of minimal house and techno, but with a range and depth that can only be described as cinematic.
(Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin and Justin Sloe)

Droog is the enigmatic DJ cadre of Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin and Justin Sloe. Born enemies during the height of the Cold War, the triptych's origins and influences span thousands of miles, from the wooded hills of Ukraine to the first American metropolis.
Individually, the members of Droog are an odd-lot: Justin Sloe is rumored to have played third baseman for the Boston Red Sox, and is best described by the sheer breadth of his musical influences and his proclivity to break out the perfect old-school sample or classic tune; Brett, of parts unknown, is as likely to drop a cutting remark as a haunting melody; Andrei, an able midfield general, world traveler and lampmaker, is known for his singularly fine taste in house, minimal, techno and women.
The friendship between these strange souls, cemented by innumerable late-night to early-morning music sessions, produced Droog and its distinct sound -- some say its "zvook" -- bending genre (house, minimal, techno) and time (late night into early morning) in an unhealthy pursuit of all that percolates in electronic dance music. Known for inimitable mixes acclaimed by both music auteurs and amateurs, Droog has served its come-uppance, DJing in exotic and far-flung locales such as Kiev, Lisbon and Taipei, and playing alongside influences such as Lee Burridge, Josh Wink, M.A.N.D.Y., Damian Lazarus, Matthew Dear and Three.
